Confused Madonna - Like A Prayer Remix I wanted to share and get some feedback on for a while

Hiya folks its been a long time and I can't remember my original info so I signed up again. I've been around/lurkin for a while and allow me to say hello again. For a little bit I've wanted to get some of the silly remixes and other loops, beds, imaging etc out for some to use and of course so I can get some input from it. listener input is very limited in this neck of the woods so it is time to post and ask yall to fire away.
So what we have here is a small minor remix of the classic Madonna - Like A Prayer .. It's got the Jason Nevins BPM with a vocal change to imitate a breathier open club sound. Finally incorporated the bottom end which has a nice produced but dirty raw hard house edge to it (at least that is what I was aiming for)
So there you have it lemme know what you think and I hope you enjoy.
PS: Those that have stereo subs should get an extra appreciation for the bottom end with its L/R harmonics turn it up! Peace

Madonna - Like A Prayer (Odiez 48Hard Mix)-raw by tszodie

Here is the other version I worked on

Maddonna - Like A Prayer (Odiez 48-128Hz Mix)-raw by tszodie

The same as the 48 Hz edit but the vocals are pulled in a bit and the low end is brightened up less progressive hard house and a bit more progressive hard dance

No criticism? Wow not even a small comment from the bass head gallery. That's OK though if the work schedule is good I should have another song ready in a few days .. or weeks LOL

Those subs are completely out of control... the vocals sound very thin.

Hehe I hope you mean outah control in a good way (I have another edit with a more full sound and higher Hz bass but I'm happier with this one) .. The hope was to get her voice sounding a bit distant, hazy and heady kinda like the ray of light club works I remember hearing or is just the way I remembered hearing them LOL

Really? It sounds like you somehow managed to rip her vocals out of the original song. An impressive feat, considering the quality, but still not very musical. they actually sounded way too warbled (for me to want) to actually want to listen to them.

The low bass was a bit over-powering but I genuinely like the idea.

I'm actually glad to hear that the bass was overpowering for you. It was the goal to get it as rude as possible without distorting everything out to much

Cool, and maybe that's what you're going for - believe me - I completely understand. My suggestion is to reign it in, but just by a small amount. Again, I do like the idea and if you're married to it, the way it is, pay me no mind.

I did pull it back quite a bit already but I'll take the advice and try going from the opposite direction. Start low add a bit rather than try to pull it down from full.

This remix sounds like the original. I have the original. On one side is a tribal track and on the other, is this same exact arrangement. Not sure you can call it a remix whatsoever. Adding a bass over someone else's work uh.. fail..
