Do you know what "creativity" means? It's not a feature in a DAW, it's how you approach your workstation and what works best for you. I use FL and I used to think I had to switch just because of its reputation, but it's not a toy like it used to be. It's a serious piece of software and it's not going to limit you in any significant way.
Beyond that it sounds like you're just asking how to make good trance music, which is way too general of a question for one thread. There's resources in the stickied threads, check those out. If you get stuck on anything, Google it, or ask us some specific questions, but right now you're looking for an answer to a question that doesn't have one.

^ excellent response
Also, just a side note: I recently switched to Logic from FL Studio, for three reasons:
- I'm primarily a Mac user these days
- I thought it would be fun to change up my workflow, see if it would open new doors
- Admittedly.... it's "cooler" to respond with "Logic" than "FL Studio" when someone asks...
The last point is juvenile, but I'm just being honest. I simply got tired of sounding like a Fruity Noob and having a conversation about how far FL has come as a DAW every time I had a discussion with another producer.
Anyway, so far I've had mixed results. Am I learning new things and new ways of working? Sure. Are there some features I really like about Logic? Absolutely. Do I feel like it has helped me? Ehhh, that's questionable. I'm still feeling very hindered by using Logic, because I have to research every little stupid thing I want to do since I'm used to a different thought process. I find myself missing FL Studio quite a bit. Tossing together the meat and potatoes of a song takes me 10 times longer now.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still giving Logic a go because I like knowing more than one tool for the job. But, the moral of the story is, don't underestimate the power of experience, nor of FL Studio... it's just fine.

For me I think the likes of Nitrous oxdie, Arty and Juventa have helped do this by proving FL can do the job (in trance anyway). Your certainly right in what you say, you don't hear of it now..
Most importantly though I think people need to realise its not the software that makes the difference but the guys putting the ideas from their head into the computers. Don't matter which Daw you choose its down to your own skill at the end of the day on how your tracks turn out. Just don't expect to see results straight away, it takes alot of time and dedication.
