never understood why their hardware will not interface with any other daw, People don't change DAWs because of controllers. It just makes it a hassle to have to make a script to use with any other DAW.

A guy on KVR said that a product video on audiomidi.com says that these will work with any DAW. But, I haven't seen it for myself.

I like them, look very handy. The only problem is, can't you pretty much do all that with an iPad and TouchOSC these days? More customisable and cheaper too.

They look cool, but I don't need one whatsoever so yea. Nice if you want to look like you're piloting the Millennium Falcon.

they all can be but they won't release the system exclusive info and the the input needed to control the lights. They could make their controllers multi platform in about 5 hours.

I think they look cheap and ugly. Catering to the lowest denominator as always,

I'm pretty disappointed in these tbh.

I would like to get hold of a decent DAW controller but it still seems like MCU or maybe Euphonix are the only real (relatively budget) alternatives.

I really don't see the point in those touchpad style faders and the price of these units is ridiculous here (£135 each) and the racks units are a total pisstake too (£100+)

Looks like it's still the MCU for me.

Do you know I still dont know how to import samples straight into Groove Agent thus avoiding having to go through the media bay import process. Gave up asking Steinberg.

Same here. I wish someone would come up with a large, flying fader control surface, like the discontinued Tascam US2400:



Shame it never worked very well.

Making it a touchfader surface is basically an Ipad with the upgrade possibilities.

I think this is clearly aimed at a budget version of the Euphonix artist series for cubase.

i've never been able to get used to moving faders. I flinch every time.

IN fact I can't listen to a mix unless the automation is off. cat reflexes or super nerves. I will go with cat reflexes. It actually makes me motion sick. And i can't not pay attention. Just in my peripheral , my brain will start paying attention to every fader and well on a big board, it isn't fun. Even if they are dead silent, i just feel like i'm being haunted by poltergiest.
