11 GCSEs! Fookin 'el!
We could only do 9, you had to practically bribe the head for a tenth!
I wanted to enter into most of the higher papers but I was "advised" to do foundation papers. Basically, C's and A's count for pretty much the same in their league tables so they slap everyone onto foundation. In the end, 20% of the whole year achieved at least 4 C's (ie enough to go to college), one of the worst rates in the country. In other words, 4 in 5 people to leave that school have got nothing to show for it. One of the few schools to do even shitter than us that year was 'Edward Campion' in Gateshead
Anyway, congrats on the results mate!

When I did my GCSE's I wanted to do the higher paper for maths, but was advised to do intermidiate. It was generally agreed after the exam that the higher paper was actually easier. Twats.
