here is something that i thought of, now that this type of music is probably getting the most laughs, ridicules and mockings. well atleast from everyone expect people who just got into the music.
this is exactly the same backlash that happened when people where mocking trance and by definition epic trance.
i am probably pointing out the fucking obvious but it's still piss funny to see everyone getting worked up over the brostep. i know i have also criticised brostep and called it not dubstep, so this isn't a case of "let him be without sin cast the first stone". more of a observation.
your thoughts?

i think it's quite a bit more like how people mocked the farty brand of 'electro house' that was big in the middle of the past decade.

Yeah, I've mentioned this before. The fate of the two genres follows almost exactly the same pattern. I would like to see the pattern continue and see some sort of dubstep equivalent to TA in about five years time, where everyone started off listening to Skrillex but now only listens to the Digital Mystikz, shits on every newcomer and spends all their time wishing they were old enough to have gone to the underground dubstep parties back in the "golden era" of 2003-2006.

Ever heard of Dubstepforum.com?
By the way I don't think Skrillex music is Dubstep anymore. It's 2011 rave music.
all the quality compositions that were now aren't. i guess most of us on this site are achaeologists.
not a bad thing to do, actually.

Dubstep is whats next, It is the progression of drum n' bass into the next... thing. I dunno, I love it, makes me feel all groovy and dancin like. Detroit seems to have a kickass dub scene. Matt Clark is excellent. Kinda diggin him more than Skrillex. DUB FILTH!!!!!!
Mark Instinct, Trolley Snatcha, Calico, Flux Pavillion, hell even Dieselboy put out a Dubstep mix.
