REVIEW: Massive 5 yr event @ Highline - Brad Miller, TyDi, Roger Shah, and Simon Patterson

Some FB pics from last night: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...56080087&type=3

Not sure if any of you guys were able to make it but I had a blast. Loved the Highline venue which was such a nice change of pace from Roseland or Pacha. After their sets tydi and roger shah walked around and just chilled and talked with some people who went up to them... great vibe and solid beats all night long. Had to bounce around 3:45 because my legs felt like they were gonna give out but all in all a great night. Hoping to be able to make it for their next event on 12/9 with Eco, Sied van Riel, Aly & Fila and Myon and Shane 54

tydi actually walked? lol. that dude looked and acted like he's had a swim in a pool of red bull or swallowed a can of jack 3d. a new emotion every split second, he was as hyper as fuck lol. which was cool, he pumped up the crowd but it got tiresome after a while with him jumping on the tables and such. his set wasn't bad.

venue was ok. checked it out for a few hours. I originally purchased the tkt for mat zo but he's doing tatw 400 in lebanon tonight so that's understandable that he couldn't make it. don't care for simon patterson at all. but mat zo, he's never played ny, so that would have been a welcome change...

Had a great time last night and especially liked the size of Highline - a big room that feels small Also thought it was really cool how the headliners came out to mingle with the crowd a bit which made things a bit more personable. Really hoping Massive will make a new home out of this venue, and would love to see a residency there!

Btw @acetate212 - Mat Zo was actually here in June for the boat party with Eco. He definitely rocked it so it would have been great to have him back, but I'm sure we'll see him again soon.

Thanks Brad, thought Zo was here already but couldn't remember where or when (I unfortunately missed that boat party).

I really liked the venue as well and enjoyed the sets. Looking forward to going back!

Yea, it would be great if Massive would do more events here. Did not aatendthis Friday's party, but had a great time at another party recently, that made me like this place alot. Definately, like matt167698 said, a nice change of pace from Pacha.

Brad, thanks for dropping Stefan Anion's Strangers at the end of your set btw. I've never heard a stefan anion track dropped in a club in 10 yrs, maybe cause he's breaks. that's probably my fav classic of his, the sick bass filled up the room! highlight of the night. thx for randomly picking that trk to play dude!
