Some good "Euphoric tracks"

Hello fellow TA!

Just before anything I wanted to state the purpose of why I wanted to open a thread like this. You might be thinking, "Oh no, fluffy Trance..."

Allow me to explain. I have made mixes of my own (ok, I'm not tryna brag here, as a matter of fact I used VirtualDJ), and I've grown very fond of the darker type of Trance. I made a mix dedicated to the 'Magik' series sound, and my other best piece of music would be the psychedelic pure Trance mix with a bunch of acid house influence.

I'm looking for a new set of inspirational songs now and I want to dedicate a new flavor of Trance.

Therefore I am looking for old school uplifting euphoric tracks. I know euphoria is usually 90% fluffy most of the time, but are there any classic euphoric fluffy tracks?

Or was Gouryella - Walhalla the start of classic euphoric trance?

I'm just looking for happier songs but I don't know much. And filling the whole tracklist up with Armin's songs is not gonna be very fun either.

If you guys could suggest good euphoric happy mood songs that'd be great!

I don't really understand. Surely the Magik compilations were classic uplifting trance? Stuff like Rank 1 - Airwave, Binary Finary - 1998, Atlantis Vs Avatar - Fiji? How much more euphoric can you possibly want to go?

Anyway, I recommend you give this mix a listen. Not sure if there's enough unicorn jizz for you in there, but for me this represents the very peak of classic '99 era uplifting trance done well:

Samuel Lamont - Cream Annexe/Courtyard Classics Mix 3 by Samuel Lamont

You're right lol. I have no excuses and honestly I just couldnt see that it is classic uplifting Trance. I agree that these are euphoric classic uplifting songs, however, I always feel like it was a bit darker at the same time. I hope this makes in any sense... it's still great though I love those songs. The euphoric I was looking for is actually the very happy, flying in the skies, light hearted, fluffy, preppy euphoria.

Because aren't there all types of euphoric?

Some euphoric songs are very uplifting in a dark way, such as Tiesto's remix of Flesh/Silence. IT'S EITHER THAT, OR I AM MISINTERPRETING EPIC/ANTHEM TRANCE FOR EUPHORIA. my gosh I dont even know anymore either. I definitely those songs are all uplifting, epic, and anthem. It's hard for me to differentiate them haha.

I think that if I'm listening to epic/anthem Trance and if I'm getting a kick out of it, and if I'm hella happy listening to it, then I consider it euphoria too.

Okay you know what, I'm gonna stop and just hope that I am making sense. I am totally confused between the labels now haha. (it's late right now)

I'll come back tomorrow with a clearer sense of mind and perhaps explain

There's nothing to differentiate. They are all exactly the same thing.

It's very difficult when you define music by how it makes you feel, because everyone feels euphoric from different music. Some people call Burial's music euphoric. I think a lot of older tracks had a melancholic edge to the eughoria, or were simply more restrained, but I think that's a good thing. I think tracks that just gush 100% super-happiness are totally childish.

Behold, the most marvelous, awe-inspiring musical composition your ears will ever have the privilege of hearing.

Bask in this heavenly melody, your sense of Sound craves for it, your Soul needs it.

You need to be cleansed of all the demonic shit that has infiltrated your life, but have no fear,

Your Baptism, baby, it is here
