Can someone give me a scientific or logical answer as to how in hell ants find food 3 stories up into my apartment??? They were all over my floor, and not only do I live 3 stories up, there is like a 10 ft. elevation from the ground and the first floor. So thats like 40 ft. and they find way into my kitchen? How do they do this? They have to be one of the most phenomenal things on the planet, yet the smallest.

WHuahah! Shit! My 'rents moved into an apartment temporarly, and holly shit! There are ANTS everywhere. Little tiny ******s crawl around the entire apartment. Since its only temporarly, I nor my 'rents don't give a shit, nevertheless, they are everywhere! QUiet amuzing watch them running around the washroom while you're taking a crap. The only thing that bugs me, they steal my food! That's when I get angry. They also teach you tough lesson to clean after yourself, otherwise, there will be even more of them. They are indeed special little bastards!

I don't know but i hate the bastards They are worse than misquitos... thank god we don't have cockroaches around here though. Well.. maybe they would eat the ants so that wouldn't be so bad

i'll tell u y ur gettin lots of ants, because ur house is dirty and theres food lying around for the ants to get at, they see it as an easy meal, so its picnic at ur house/apartment

had this problem a few years back, lots in kitchen where i kept spilling drinks, which obviously had sugar and shit in and the ants enjoy sugar

You leave little droplets of it close to the ants' trails. It's sweet and very appealling to ants, the worker ants eat some and take it back to the nest where they store it and feed it to the queen. Unfortunately for them its a slow acting poison, so they essentially poison the entire colony. ;evilgrin;

I tried putting a blob of that stuff near an ants nest the other day.

All the black ants walked right around it. All the red ones made off with it.

The black ants have ended up in the kitchen, too. Smart buggers.
