The sounds are fake? For the purpose of theatrics it's a job well done then they could've let us known it was a audio reenactment in text

Neither were fireworks.

One is meant to illuminate the battlefield at night and the second one is meant to suppress the enemy and provide concealment for movement of friendly forces through chunks of burning white phosphorus.
