I don't really know a lot about hip-hop production but it's sounding pretty nice to me, besides the tempo I kinda feel it's more characteristic of electro than hip hop but maybe it's just the lack of vocals, I doubt that matters much. Obviously it needs to be developed more though.

this genre is not really my cup of tea, but it's produced well in my opinion... good mixing and i like the dry bass sound...

i guess this could turn out really great in a whole track...
