Dog Running Hooray! Human Traffic sequel!

Human Traffic 2 Announced! August 27, 2002 by Ian
The sequel to a popular clubbing film, which featured Carl Cox in the Original has been Announced, Read on for more details and a new venue this time....

Human Traffic 2 has been announced and For many clubbers it is great news to have a film what captures the club scene in a realistic manner.

The sequel is going to be set in Ibiza, with the popular club Manumission being considered as a possible venue. Also Mentioned is that there will probably be a new cast in this one from the predecessor in 1999.

Producers are also trying to tempt Carl Cox to possibly playing a part in this second one, but it is not confirmed, and with the very busy schedules of DJs may not happen, but it is hoped he will spare time to film with them again.

Filming commences in Ibiza on September 15th so If you're around at that time, perhaps you may well see some action of it as it's being made.

More news on a release and music scores from the movie as they come to light, but it could be a while yet.

taken from ivibes.nu

human traffic was one of the funniest movies ive ever seen. i REALLY cried in cinema

The best parts for me were the vinyl pusher and the whole explanation of the scene we have all been privy to: meet someone you know but dont like, act like you are friendly with them and then try to get out of talking to them. I love how he talks about the scenario where what if we just said what we were thinking instead of sugar coating it and being nice. LOL That was great.

im scared of this movie being sacriligious to my faith

also Ive heard they are toning down the drugs to try and get a 15 rating or something like that. Which would make it sacrilege

I have so many good memories from this movie.I went to see before it premiered in the cinemas at home on the Quart Festival in my home town.I came into the hall where it was going to be shown, got a free Human Traffic t-shirt,and 10 mins before showtime, when most people had gotten themselves a seat, somebody suddenly yelled "Free beer and coke at the bar!!!!!!!" and suddenly a HORDE of people stormed from their seats to the bar at the rear of the hall to get some free beer.Total chaos And when Fatboy Slim - Build It Up,Tear It Down came blasting out the speakers during the intro,I had the best feeling ever for the movie.

And then, after the movie was finished,I went out and saw some class hiphop from Mass Influence,3rd Bass,Dead Prez,an INCREDIBLE session of funk from D'Angelo, before Leftfield mashed the place up totally with one of the most WICKED liveshows EVER.I'll never forget when my hair raised itself on my head cos the bass was so deep.

One of the best days of my life

Hopefully the sequel wil have just as many funny-as-hell anecdotes as the prequel.I'm also excited to see how the soundtrack will be,as the first one was massive.
