WIP - Acid Techno, 303 lead

Hi there ...
It's early days for this tune but woud love to hear some thoughts on this.

I have been playing around with the Phoscyon 303 emulator made by the D16 Group. The 303 lead starts at 1:25. I've been having a lot of fun with this, it's obvious now just how the orginal 303 completely revolutionised the entire dance music genre

There's no drop as yet and the drum tracks are there as guides and yet to be developed

edit: actually totally awesome acid nice one

Thanks for your response ...

I know what you mean about the top end clickity arp line, it doesn't sit too good at the moment

There's two instances of the D16, one is static and is what the demo starts off with and the other is the main lead. This just uses a single pattern but with different settings for step length and env.accent every 16 bars. Cutoff is what is used dynamically.

I'm glad you like it, I generally (thought not always) find gentle prgressions (with Cutoff and Env.Mod) work much better than frantic wiggling.

Cheers

I developed more structure on this tune ... The drum parts are deliberately low in the mix as when I play out live, I play drum parts live on a Roland V-Drum kit (TD12)
