Anybody else get this? I think April and May are most productive months, but Nov-March always suck the creative drive out of me, especially January and February.

I'm actually having to push myself hard to concentrate on much of anything, recently. I'm not typically seasonally affective but this season, I'm not very effective, either.
You guys need the secret, it can solve any problem:

I used to get that when I was an upstate NY'er. In AZ though, it's almost reversed. Today was a nice 80 deg and cloudless and May-October is absolute hell and impossible to function in at 130. That saps everything out of you in 5 min.
Some studies tie seasonal disorder to Vitamin D deficiency. Add a couple of 'sunlight' bulbs to your lamps. Sounds nuts, but some people say it helps.

I actually think it's worse for me living in California than it was growing up in Michigan. Maybe it's because I used to ski 4 or more days/week to keep me occupied. It's been sunny and 60s here, but it still feels dreary.

"Mud season" If youre from Mich, you know exactly what that is
It might be 60 but you probably are dropping into the high 30s/low 40s at night...leafless trees etc. Might be a case of 'the body remembers' even if you don't want it to.

Yup, that sounds about right, including "mud season"!

Well it's summer and it's far too nice outside to be stuck in a studio, so no. No mid-winter blues here. Winter is great for producing, in July
Thinking about winter being in July makes my head hurt...
But in Arizona I assure you we wish winter WAS in July here
TRADE YA!!!

No deal! I like to escape to Europe in August to get two summers and cut down the winter.

Think of it this way...at 130 deg divided by 2, you get two 65 deg summers in half the time! I'm telling you it's a deal! Then go to (a burn ward) in Europe and you then have 4 summers a year and a couple months to spare

You'll have to use accurate and up-to-date temperature before I can understand what the hell that is supposed to be, instead of that medieval and useless shit you and the Poms still insist on using.
