pretty long intro for the track. why not try keeping it to a minute?
pretty rough transition into the one vocal sample. it comes across as awkward to me as a listener.
at 2:30, i still feel like i'm in the intro of the track. it feels like nothings has happened yet.
at 3:00 finally starting to feel a bit of a build. this should be what the intro feels like in my opinion.
the melody that comes in at 3:45 isn't very convincing and sounds too thin. i think if you just layered it with a fuller sound you'd be good.
the weird stuff that comes in at 4:00 actually sounds pretty cool.
pretty stereotypical exit of the breakdown. makes the track not feel special
by 6:00, i still feel like nothing has happened yet.
i think you should really focus on writing a coherent verse. by that, i mean you need to find a melody and build the point of the track around that. that's how you can take your tracks to the next level |
Thanks for taking the time to review the song in depth and help me see an unbiased ears opinion. Got you on the hihats, structure problems, ect. I am aiming to keep the track short so I will definitely cut some of the intro.

Bloody awesome percs again, really capturing that Friday night going out sense. I got you marked as a true dance producer. The drop is fabtastic - kinda wierd, but great. |
Thanks brother! I wanted to make this one more club friendly than for avid listners to electronic music. Your feedback shows me I am moving in the right direction.

I'm liking this bro.
I agree with the poster above though, the percs are a little loud for my taste, but thats just preference.
I also agree with the above that I think more needs to come into the track, sounds very much the same going through.
Either it needs to build and build in the same vein or maybe add a break and slow it down then bring in a build up, making the drop even bigger? |
Great ideas. I will definitely be turning down the percussion and working on the structure.
