I mainly listen to trance and house. I absolutely hate dubstep, the stuff they produce is a joke, it's awful. How skrillex won 3 grammys is just mindblowing... There's a ton of DJs out there who are more talented yet they don't get the recognition they deserve. So what are your thoughts?

Re: What do you think of dubstep?
Uhhh, some stuff is good, but only at times. Other parts make me want to put my head in a barrel and bang on it.
Well it's certainly bringing a shitload of attention to the dance scene.

You think that's something positive?

Overall the beat pattern/structure of dubstep is irritating and unnatural to dance to. You can either bop on the half step which puts you at like 80 bpm, or full speed at like 150-160bpm. I like neither of those choices as a dancefloor participant, therefor the only dubstep I can really enjoy is the type you would listen to while sitting, which is burial and the like.
Overall its a poor genre and as stated above, wont miss it when it fades.
