Electro? I don't even.. What do you think about this?
Here is a freshly baked new track I made, maybe it's not 100% finished but it's around 95%, I think.
I guess this is some electro thing, I have no idea. It's not meant to be a No.1 track on the UK Top 40, but i think it's a solid track.
It would be really nice If you listened to it and shared your technical and criticism as a listener with me. I'm open for anything really. Thank you.

I think it needs more ideas and a bit more development, as it is pretty plain in its current form. That c64ish arp stab is badly out of key. The overall mix is pretty good though.

You are right about that sample, completely forgot to tune it
That sample will probably be hitting the road though.
You are also right about it being plain, I can defend myself by quoting the built in timer: "Total time spent on it: 2 hours 50 minutes"
This is pretty much a rebound project for me, just to clear my mind from the usual dark techno-ish acid/breakbeat somethings I usually spend time producing. I'd recommend to anyone to do this from time to time, really gets your inspiration back.
Thanks for listening, appreciated!

Ahh gotcha. It's got potential if you keep at it, but yeah I'd say do something about that sample, lol. Also as I've said in other threads, I like to have several projects that I can choose to work on depending on how I feel or my mood and try not to stick to one style/genre because it really keeps your motivation up imo.
Sorry can't comment at this moment as CS went crazy on my lol, will try lather.
Cheers,
Darek

This production is simple at the moment and need to mature to call it a good quality/interesting enough per today standards.
It is up to you to take this track and guided the way you want listener to experience it, still long way to go but the boundary are clearly establish.
Some nice and cool ideas are in there already but the faith of this production will totally depend on future direction you will take this track through.
Let us know when you have something more develop my friend !!!!
Cheers,
Darek

Groove is a little muddied or something, seems like it could use some eqing. The bass saw seems really out of tune or maybe just the tuning of the track makes it seem that way, or the higher octave would sound better. The 8 bit sounds start to get annoying. Definitely a tuning issue somewhere, maybe a couple places. EQing is pretty non existent in the drums, they clash in many places. An idea is in there somewhere but it's just too muffled and kind of all over the place at the moment.
