So there's a common idea of what "summer" music is: carefree, fun, laid back, light, etc. And "winter" music has a pretty common interpretation, too, of "cold" sound textures, or music with tones of sadness or loneliness, maybe slow or sparsely arranged things, too.

I don't hear about "autumn" music as much, but I occasionally hear it applied to music with "warm" textures, maybe with hints of melancholy or nostalgia.

But what about spring? I don't think I've heard anyone talk about "spring" music, so, drawing from any ideas you have about other "seasonal" music, what kind of tunes do you think fit that season? Any tracks that bring spring to mind for you?

Also, autumn is posssibly my favourite season for listening to music. DJ Shadow - Endtroducing is my ultimate autumn album. It sounds so unbelievably good when all the leaves are brown. Autumn is all about melancholic, nostalgic music. A lot of dubstep sounds really, really good in autumn:
