I've been listening to some techno here and there. I'm starting to like it and I know there are some techno freaks on here. Recommend me some tunes. Thanks!

I'll be honest, haven't been listening/following to too much techno lately but Richie Hawtin's documentary MAKING CONTAKT has got me a bit into it. Really cool stuff and worth checking out! May make it bit enjoyable for you to discover this 'genre' rather then listening to sets and going through fillers.

I love techno these days but to be honest I dont know too many individual tracks. I listen to mainly live sets or podcasts. Check out the thread in the NYC section though. They mostly talk about who is coming to the city but they also post tons of great tracks and mixes especially when they are excited about a specific show. Turned me on to many new guys. There is a few people in there that really know their shit especially Chaska.
Most of the tracks have been posted in the last 30 pages or so I think.

Thanks, I appreciate the links. I'm sort of the same way with trance. I only really listen to mixes or sets. Not a big fan of the tracks ending after 5 minutes. Cheers guys.

No prob! Hope you like it or find it somewhat interesting. I'm really into show production/effects side of things at the moment and found it very informative, plus it exposed me to some techno. Whole new level of respect to Hawtin and his crew!
