Been kinda messing with this for a while, did all the melody and bassline and most of the perc stuff last day or 2 though. Will probably try to fiddle with another synth instrument just to add some more depth later on.

lol first thing i noticed is the snare sounding a bit off at the 1.04 mark when the breakdown comes in.. other then that i like what you have so far, its really chill and could turn into a nice track.

The bass is nice, and that little sample at 1:40 is a nice touch. Keep on working, it definitely got potential.

the track is good but it sounds like you haven't started mixing it. I hate wet mixes but this needs some polishing. IT is just too clean and has no character which is a shame because everything else is there. Seems like you are on the other side of the spectrum. Your musical ideas are all there, you just need to produce it. Can't really give more than that as it just sounds like you haven't actually mixed it at all. I would basically have to explain how to mix it in words.

if someone told me this was a new scratch take of a pryda track, i would believe them. Probably the best thing i've heard just in terms of musical ideas on this forum in a while. There is nothing really offensive that makes me go , why would someone do that. That rarely happens. Which is good. You aren't left with polishing a turd.

It does sound like something prydz would do.

Cool to hear, to be honest I just sat down and started working without trying to sound like anyone in particular, but glad it came out well. I think that some effort needs to be spent working on the production itself obviously, but that could take any shape or form. I would like to mix it in such a way that it could be played out the same way a Pryda track could be, without any holes in it.

It would take too much writing to explain how to mix it in words, but if you have any initial ideas that might help me lift it off the ground a little that would help too. I feel like a starting point as an anchor would help, then I can just move on from there.

I had about 45 minutes to work on this today, hopefully I'll have some more time soon. Here's the work on the mixdown.
