yeah thats Sandman its a series of graphic novel type things.
Neil gaiman is an amazing writer ive read 4 of his books; Neverwhere,Stardust,American Gods, and Good Omens. all were awesome books. i havent read the Sandman series yet, those are next on my list
all ive heard about them is that they are really good and prom my personal experience with his books i can say they are probably very good also. id say pick one up and see if you thats your thing..if not oh well

Sandman is a great read. Each collection (the books are actually collections of 'normal' comic versions) has a theme (some more loose than others). Some of his stuff is really dark and twisted while other stuff will just floor you laughing.

He is also really, really into mythology and pop culture so there are some great hidden reference all through the series.

Sandman has also been continued (or so I have been told) sans Gaiman, using his 'philosophy'/style, by other artists and writers.

Sandman is good stuff, if you can get a copy of the trade paperbacks or original comics do it. They got better over the duration of the series. The Sandman series went to about 70 comics in total from recollection.

He also wrote, two mini-series about Sandmans sister Death which are also really good.
