With a lot of patience and understanding -- any online community is but a reflection of what is present in the general populace and as such can never be perfect. The best antidote for douchebaggery is to allow people to dig their own online graves and allow for the community to deem them worthy or not. Mods should take a back seat unless it is a major violation of morality and/or if the post/poster exceeds nominal levels of douchebaggery (i.e. warp factor 6 meets 69 9s)
