And even if it did, this version sounds just like the radio-rip of the original...?

that is not actually a release! thats why its a called a RECONSTRUCTION because he used the radio rips to reconstruct the track. the dude is just a cool producer who likes doing this so we can enjoy a better version of unreleased trax..
