Last time we had like 150 people and the dance floor was packed. That time I wasn't playing music, I was helping my friend make sure his house didn't get destroyed. I think he was playing trap and hiphop shit that time. If I get any requests I will pretend not to speak english.

play what you know it works, hip hop,rnb,top 40 , dance classics and towards the end hwn everyone is fucked up and rolling then you can play 2-3 tech house records that surely would have a warm welcome.

Djing for kids is something i promised myself i'd never do again, mainly because you go with the idea that you "might have to play commercial edm" when in fact they expect that you will just play a little of edm.

When i did this i was 18 and i played for 16 aged kids. I spent the last part of the night playing trance classics for the delight of the few edm heads that worshiped me while 90% of the people glared at me and girls were almost crying while his boyfriends treathened me to play the spanish pop hit they girls wanted.

Priceless. I only had a few commercial tracks and house/trance no rnb,pop,hip hop... grab some don't be as amateur as i was.
