Gírias

Beleza, metade do povo aqui é português e a outra metade é brasileira (e temos uma terceira metade com os gringos que aprenderam português por hobby ).

Pois bem, eu estava tentando imaginar como são as gírias em Portugal, porque no Brasil, a única palavra que conhecemos é "gajo", que nem gíria é

Caso nossos amigos do além-mar queiram saber algumas das nossas gírias, lá vai:

Massa = muito bom (vem de máximo, creio eu)
Véi = É como "mate" ou "man" em inglês "What are you doing, man!? = Que cê tá fazendo, véi!? ; Cheers mate = Valeu, véi!)
Valeu = Obrigado/obrigada
Só = tudo bem, de acordo, pois é... é que nem o "yeah" em inglês
Cê(s) = você(s)... cês usam isso também?
Tosco = algo não muito refinado (em algumas regiões significa mal-feito, ruim)
Boto fé = concordo
Beleza = Tudo bem

Não lembro de mais nada por enquanto...

(Essas são algumas das de Brasília, brasileiros de outros lugares, sintam-se a vontade para colaborar)

Batata é batata doce e semilha é batata... é, acho que eu entendi

hehe, dessa história de vocabulário diferente em Portugal e aqui, eu lembro do povo da minha escola "rindo" de uma colega portuguesa em relação a certas palavras:
aterrar = hehe, era muito estranho ouvi-la dizer que "o avião estava aterrando", porque pra nós, aterrar é jogar terra em cima (quase enterrar, mas sem ter nada embaixo). Nos diríamos "aterrisando" ou "aterrissando"
E fiquei sabendo que não posso dizer que minha geladeira está "quebrada" em Portugal, porque vocês entenderiam que ela está partida ao meio, quando na verdade, queremos dizer que ela só está "avariada"...

E porque em Portugal vocês não pronunciam as vogais?

V'cês não fal'm nem m'tad' das letr's
