Drunk Your Summer Review

Hey everyone!!! I haven't been to this site in a loooooonnnnggg time because I have the world's worst computer at home BUT now that I'm back at school (which is where I am right now), I can use my free time to contribute my lovely thoughts to this wonderful world of trance lovers.

Anywayz, summer is almost over and I was just wondering how you guys enjoyed your summer. I didn't really have much of one seeing that I worked pretty much EVERYDAY at my low paying thankless jobs and went NOWHERE.....well, except to WEMF which was probably the highlight of my summer vacation (if you can even call it that). I know that some of you guys, Heatscore for one, were lucky enough to go to Europe and party -----> bastards!!! If I had money, I'd be following Armin wherever he played.

Alright, so there's the topic for discussion: how was your summer? what parties did you go to? what was the best thing you did?

my summer was great, i partied almost every weekend and got to go on one of the acension boat cruises ( my first) which was very fun. i also was able to go to Area2 ( would have rather gone to wemf...) but area 2 was awsome i saw: Tiesto,Digweed,Dieselboy,Cox and some moby

i also finished off my summer seeing gielen at viva and after seeing both gielen and tiesto this summer i have to say that gielen was WAY better

Thumbs up

This summer was excellent!

The World Cup was fun to watch and made for a lot of early mornings - too bad the Irish couldn't beat Spain

The garbage strike was awful...I won't forget that stench!

And the parties...
Summers End party was fun (well at least the music) but don't forget about Canada Day when Max Graham & Oakenfold laid it down (especially Max Graham who really suprised me) and made it a night to remember.

But the best of the best for me was Mysteryland in Amsterdam. Great lineup, amazing weather, and very cool people. Everyone should go to a dutch party at least once in their life.

Oh and liquidchick: Got to see Armin not once but twice at Mysteryland, and another at guvernment last week. That's 3 times in less than two weeks!

Oh no, you did not!! Indianapolis was probably the best place to be after Belgrade. I couldn't even watch the game!!!
But we are the champions!!!!!

I had a summer semester at Sheridan College 2nd year systems analyst course. Watch most all the soccer games WC, head for some crazy ass parties like Sander at the guvernmnet and john at systems. Have been practising my mixing technique, spend quality of time with my girl friend, who is attending the same course at college as I am.

hand out with emaster, dj.eso, hordash, trancearmanda and many more.

btw it was an awesome bbq at your house, trancearmanda, too bad that two blonde chicks had to leave early.

anywayz it was not a bad summer, but I just spend so much money and all of my savings on school and etc, so now i have my coop term so i have to work my ass off.

overall 8/10 summer for me
cheers

Well...as a fairly recent trance fan (about a year) I feel so lucky to be blessed this summer with the opportunity to see central Europe and live in England for 3 months. And get work experience at the same time. It was so great to meet so many new people from so many different walks of life and see countryside and towns and cities so different from here. Best party? GODSKITCHEN! I don't know if we have anything like that here..I've never been to WEMF. But, can you imagine, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Signum, Dumonde, Fergie, MAuro Picotto, Guy Ornadel, TAll PAul, Dj Scot project, Marco V, and many more..just in the Trance arenas! THen you have other great Djs like Billy Nasty, Lisa Lashes, Lab 4, Lisa Pin up, etc...with all the hardhouse, techno, hard trance..whatever..then Digweed, sander K, Sotoshie T. and more with the deep house and proggy stuff...Dj Hype and all those quality drum and bass guys..and much more....all in ONE NIGHT! Complete overkill! How can you choose to see so many great guys in one night? Well, don't get too mashed, be organised etc.. But it almost hurts to be having a great time watching Ferry Corsten then thinking..shit, I'm missing Tiesto, and that sort of thing. All I can say is that Godskitchen (and trance for that matter) kicked my ass this past July.

Peace, Andrew

Nice Thread Topic

Anyways, my partying is usually cut in half over the summer as I like to chill out at the cottage and use the summer weather for what it's worth. I did manage to make my way to Satoshi, Sander K, Deep Dish, Sasha and Digweed (I know it was april but..) Danny Howells x2, Tom Stephan x2, John OO, and Armin, all in all not a big party summer.Would have liked to make it WEMF, but the dissapointment of last years couldnt budge me. The cold season is comming and that when I seek the clubs for shelter. Looking forward to a wicked winter line up.
