Waves H-Delay

It's on sale for $99 and even cheaper at Waves Universe, and it includes a $100 Waves voucher. Try it, then buy it. I got it a few months ago and it's become an instant favorite.

waves multip tap allows a midi trigger to allow groove delays.

Yep, SuperTap is also a cool delay. Personally, I don't care much for the UI, but it's very flexible and also cheap (on sale for $64 - cheaper at WU).

I'm not saying it's better, just different. I like it and I thought I'd let people know about it, since it's on sale and includes the voucher. If you don't need another delay, then the solution is simple: ignore it. Yes, you can even ignore the "Try it, then buy it" statement, as it wasn't really a command and you do have options.

That said, H-Delay has some pretty good range for sculpting the sound of the echoes and it has a pretty nicely laid out interface IMO. YMMV.

No I really meant why is it different, no trollin'

I'm always on the lookout for more delays that aren't a pain to program and add a little bit of different spice.

I figured you weren't trolling, but the others...well, you know.

You might want to check this out then. As you can see above, the interface is very neat and it's very easy to find everything at a quick glance. The different analog modes, filters, and modulation make it very easy to tweak the delays from clean to virtually useless with little effort. Seriously, though, there is a lot of usable range in those parameters, most of which are focused on achieving "warm" and "analogue" delays. You'd have to hear it for yourself, of course.

I think delays are one of those taken for granted plugins. Using Timeless recently really opened my eyes (ears?) to what's possible, but I just hate, hate the GUI.

Might give this a whirl.

Not to high-jack the thread, but since it's also a wave product that's on sale right now, does anyone have an opinion about H-EQ? I've been looking for an affordable yet powerful equalizer. I tried the demo version and it works pretty well, but I wanted the input of other users.
