Why did he suck? I missed it.
I've seen him a couple times IRL and a few times on streams (tomorrowland i believe)
I've always been impressed with him, and had a good time each time i've seen him at festivals
Did he just play music that is outside your world view or was he technically falling apart?
i cant even load the stream, wouldnt be surprised if its blocked by my workplace |
Technically, he was good but nothing out of this world. Music wise, he played quite a few commercial tracks, like Gangnam Style & Niggas In Paris lol. However, during his pre-set interview, he said that he wasn't sure what he was gonna play because the crowd was more techno than what he's used to. Remember, he is not the same Fatboy Slim we used to love back in the days, he's extremely commercial now. So he kept on going back and forth between techno and commercial. I didn't mind his set at all. I've heard him play extremely commercial before.
I'll tell you this though, the crowd seemed to be going nuts over his set. You can hear them scream big time.
I didn't get a chance to hear Carl Cox or Christian Varela, but that Nicole chick kicked ass! I loved her set. It was pretty banging, driving, hard techno.
