i currently have a numark cdn-88 dual cd player with a numark pro cm1000 mixer that my company is letting me borrow for a few months. i want to make a mix cd but have a few questions:

1. what software do you need to record your mixes on a PC or laptop
2. what soundcard is required and what do you guys recommend on a budget of around $100 - $200 usd

any other tips or suggestions such as beatmatching, crossfading, etc. would be greatly appreciated from this beginner, thanks.

I use TOTAL RECORDER on my on-board sound card for recording my sefl !
