I need one with a relatively big screen as i will use it for teaching. Don't need too many bells and whistles, just fast with the media, and decent RAM. Flash is a must. Jihad. I need 3.

I don't give a shit about the camera. Its for groups of 6 students. 1 tablet for 2 and interactive learning utilities. I can get anything cheap here...I just am a little ignorant on what would be the best for my needs. At home i will always use a laptop. A tablet doesn't have the jam for my personal needs yet.

I don't know a great deal about tablets, but if you're specifically going for bang for the "buck" then the Android tablets will likely be cheaper than iPads are, and are close to the same specs. Are you going to be running any specific apps though? Might be worth checking that the apps you need/want are available on either platform.

Pretty much no tablets aside from the Microsoft Surface have flash because Adobe discontinued it for Android and Apple refused to implement it for various reasons.

For bang for your buck you're either going to get an awful Android tablet or a refurbished/last gen iPad.

Flash is only officially supported for windows 8 (not windows RT) so that does narrow down your options. It's not avaliable (officially) on iOS or android anymore. So if you're planning on using one of those device you better look up a guide on jailbreaking it.

It takes all of 30 seconds to get flash working on any new (JellyBean) android device. While its not actively developed any more its still available.

Easy steps on how to do it in the above link. Seriously, it takes no effort at all, no rooting or jailbraking or any of that unnecessary stuff required, and works flawlessly).


While its a bit annoying that the official support for flash is gone due to some douchebag company moving away from it despite it still being a huge presence on the web, at least android allows you to use it regardless of official support.

The flash is only because of a few educational programs I've gotten my hands on running on it. Thanks for the info guys. Look forward to hearing suggestions of actual models. The only reason i don't want to spend a lot, is that I have to buy a few, and people break shit that isn't theirs generally.

Flash is on its way out. HTML5 is probably going to replace it in the next couple years.
