Xfer Records' Cthulhu Arp/Chord Plug-in

For those that haven't heard about it yet, I thought I'd give a heads up on this new tool from Steve Duda's Xfer Records (Nerve, LFO Tool). It's apretty cool arpeggiator and chord effect that works with any virtual instrument.
Looks like it has some nice tricks up its sleeve and it's only $40 or so, well worth a look imo.

Will give it a shot, looks like good brain-storming session tool for me lol - always like to go through few melodic variations - appreciate for this info!

Cheers,

Darek

for someone like myself who doesnt have any musical theory background this could be a nice help - also i find Live's arp a bit basic and limited

its interesting what that guy Steve Duda says about that being deadmau5's secret weapon for a while, i love some of the chord progression he uses in some tracks

this one in particular, nothing extremely complicated but i like it

great production actually, vocal sits really well

Lol, I was watching his live recording session (few months back) from his studio - interesting style of work also like his production flow, very detail and picky lol.

Cheers

I'm not a big deadmau5 fan, but that is a great song. When I first heard it I had to look and see who produced it, was surprised to see it was him. That is a great chord progression.

I can come up with chord progressions on my own, but a tool like this might give me a creative boost. I was sort of against using chord helpers, but I can see the use for them now. I choose to call it "chord exploring". It's likely most of us, even the musically gifted, are not exploring the full range of chord progression possibilities.

Right on man, it is a "chord exploring session tool" - agree.

Cheers

I Remember is a pretty typical Deadmau5 track. I'm...surprised you were surprised. He often has excellent chord progressions.

Regardless I'm definitely buying this.
