Denon stuff isn't usually that bad. I know plenty of people with their equipment, and to my knowledge, no problems ever.
If you sent something back for repair, and got the same problem a week later, then it's on them to fix it free of charge, including shipping if that was an issue. They pretty much have to cover it.
FYI, leaving something sitting around without use can be bad too, especially if it's in a wet or humid climate, though it depends on the type of hardware itself. Knobs/sliders, for example, can build up shit to the point where they don't make proper contact.
Additionally, anyone that knows how to use a screwdriver (with the possible exclusion of Michael J Fox) won't be leaving obvious marks on the unit, when they are opening/closing it

hello
ye...there are people who use Denon who get higher than everest on my score card. So in terms of "outcomes" that you get from Denon gear...... there can't be any question of it's quality.
But still, there are other people who have mentioned that although the
gear is diamond, it *does* break. This is unacceptable when you are
paying 200 to 250 pounds sterling for a pair of headphones that don't last one week?
yes, the gear is assembled at the other end of the world in places that we all know about. But it should not break even before it's been extensively used. (literally just a few days out of the wrapper)
The problem must be the quality control on the factory lines
and not so much the materials used (shipping, quality control....yields and so on)
it is a shame, because on the one hand, it's lovely gear, but on the other hand, well see above.
that my 2 c3nts worth
V.
