when buying a album (mixed CD)

do you purchase a CD because they have the latest and greatest tunes on them? ( a mixed CD filled with all the latest tunes and floorfiller)

or

you purchase the CD because it has nice old tunes and new tunes on them?

does the year in which the tracks were produced and mixed onto the CD bother you?

does year matter ?

If a cd is mixed I don't care what tunes are in as long it is a great mix, a journey

well of course when im buying a new miced cd i want new tracks,who doesnt?...but this doenst mean that if i take a mixed cd with old tracks only or new and some gold anthems i dont like it...if its mixed right i love it

if i had paid £££ then i would expect most tunes to be new and me not to have heard them. This is never the case thugh, you alwats know a good few of the tunes these days thats why i just stick to live sets now

I think a balanced mix with both old and new tunes is best. It allows tracks to be paired that people would never have thought of together, since they were produced years apart. If it's well done, it makes it very interesting.
