Jack Moss - Lush [Ambient House/Progressive/Trance]
This is something I've been working on for aaaages. I remember JBJ and slijva (I think) discussing early 90s records from labels like Hardkiss, saying how they had a much more carefree and positive vibe than modern dance music. I've always really liked music from that period, particularly in summertime when I'd be out on long walks through the countryside.
This is basically a big two hour collation of all my favourites I've been listening to down the years. Although the tracklisting isn't terribly obscure, some of my biggest personal classics are here. Most of these tracks aren't very DJ friendly, but I tried to build a real set here. It starts off slow and chilled and builds all the way up to some PLUR trance. Best served with the great outdoors.

The name comes from the Orbital track, which is one of a billion tunes that didn't make the final cut. Orbital are in there though, and I'll leave it to the trainspotters to point them out.

Haha that's hilarious. Sometime during late May/Early June I drafted up a summery progressive trance mix and named it Lush as well. Never got around to mixing a version that was good enough to post here, though. Great track, too.
This mix looks fantastic. Recognize all the tracks, but can't wait to give it a listen
This is really great man, beautiful stuff and mixed superbly. Flow was spot on the and mood throughout fits the title justly. It's really obvious a lot of work went into this as it's really tight. The transitions work really well in many cases such as Raincry -> Sunstroke, which I thought was really smooth.
Overall I can't really fault anything on this. I love a lot of these tracks, and the direction you took it worked perfectly for this time of year; having a smoke on the porch in the warm muggy air.
Thanks for sharing as usual, looking forward to the next installment.

Thanks, grabbing this. Tasty looking tracklist and I am still enjoying your "Heart of Darkness" mix, so this really looks like a fairly safe bet.
