Greg Wilson is an absolute legend in some circuits in the UK.
He still plays out to this day at places like the Warehouse Project in Manchester and also in his native Liverpool - exactly the same way he did back in 1983 too with his reel to reel!

I'd love to hear him live one day. I'm still pissed off about missing him in Detroit a couple of years ago. The sets online somewhere. I'll look around for it and post it here.
