Well Talla has been around for some time now. That remix of Dito is indeed stunning, and his set @ TE had a GREAT track selection. But what puzzled me was his mixing skills. For a guy that's been involved in the scene for more than 10 years, the skills he showed @ TE were surprisingly bad.Bad queuing, rushed transitions...What's up with that?I refuse to belive that he could've run Technoclub for so long with skills like these...

I think the style jumping was due to the crowd's reactions.Talla usually plays harder than what he did @ TE,but when he tried to increase the hardness with Yakooza - Cocaine, the crowd obviously didn't like it.Hence,he kept at it with the melodic stuff.

Talla 'Ring two times' has been a DJ since the 80's.

Being one of the pioneers of the global Techno scene. In the early 80ies he began his DJ career with the sounds of Kraftwerk, YMO, Depeche Mode at a Frankfurt dancing school. His first projects e.g. Moskwa TV were far ahead of their time and started the legendary Sound of Frankfurt.

Songs like „Techno Talk" or „Generator 7/8“ were powered across Europe and stormed also the American Billboard Charts. Even in Chicago, where „Technohouse“ was created at that time the Moskwa TV tracks were played at the clubs.

He lent the Techno movement tremendous inputs through his unstoppable commitment. The founding father of the "Technoclub" in 1984 and the German music magazine "Frontpage" in 1989. From 1992-1995 he gave up Dj-ing and gave his undivided attention to the setting up of his record company „Music Research“. When in mid-1995 Talla started his comeback no one in the scene believed he could come back, but when you see him nowadays performing in front of an audience of 30.000 people at the "HRXXL Clubnight" jumping all over the stage; at "Nature One", climbing up the light masts, while at the same time unforgettably bringing the crowd to a storm of excitement with his trance grooves and then, after his performance bungee-jumping in front of the area – that's real Techno and Trance energy!

In the meantime, the 36-year old Frankfurt native has become one of Germany's most asked for DJ – attending at all major raves and the best clubs.

But especially, at such events as Nature One, Love Parade, Rave & Cruise, Energy and in clubs such as Space (Ibiza), Gatecrasher (Sheffield), K4-Millenium/Pacha (Tel Aviv), Shadow Lounge (Miami), Airport, Tribehouse, Flash, Reaktor and many more he showed the crowd that there is no differentiation between „You all out there“ and „Me here on tip“. Rather: You have got to melt with the music, become one with it, release positive energy and let the night become an unforgettable event.

As the boss of Music Research he exercised with his crew great influence on the international club sound as well as with his labels: Tetsuo, Suck Me Plasme, Bonzai Germany, Chaos and many more, he released several club and chart hits (e.g. York, Push, Talla battles Taucher, DJ JamX)

In 1996 together with his production partner Vernon B. he released under his pseudonym „Talla 2XLC“ tracks on Universal (e.g. Eternal Mystery and Love's comin´down) and on Sony Music (e.g. Talla battles Taucher – Nightshift). Both also produced remixes for BBE, Yves Deruyter, Front 242, Praga Khan, Giogio Moroder, Push, Gary Numan and so on.

In 1997 he started the "Technoclub" compilation series together with Sony Music Media. It is based on the innovative concept of DJ´s confronting each other in a mixing-Battle on a nonstop mixed double CD. Already his debut CD „Talla vs. Taucher“ hit like a bomb, making it to the 5th position in the Media Control Charts as did the subsequent volumes. Talla and his guest DJ´s (e.g. Talla´s friends Taucher, Tom Wax, Hooligan, Mario De Bellis + Resistance D alias Pascal F.E.O.S.) made the Technoclub compilation to one of the most successful compilation series additionally, a single was produced for each TC compilation together with the particular DJ partner the songs „Energy“ (Talla 2XLC meets Tom Wax) and „Nightshift“ (Talla battles Taucher) even made it in the Media Control Top 100.

After the Technoclub Vol. 6 (Talla battles Taucher) there was a little mix-break as well as a special summer edition: Technoclub goes Space-Ibiza. In cooperation with the well known Spaceclub at Ibiza this double CD with the best tracks of the summer ´99 was celebrated there as well as at the Technoclub.

And now, the hot autumn starts with a new volume of the compilation series. DJ Moguai battles against Talla 2XLC under the term: „Talla 2XLC calls Moguai“. They got to know each other at the Rave & Cruise at the Indian Ocean in 1997, they met each other several times and due to the fact that they were on the same wavelength, it was just a question of time that Moguai (Dial M for Moguai – Beatbox) accepted the challenge. With his progressive Trance Sounds Moguai is an excellent completion to the sound of Talla and the new single has become a clubsmasher!
