I dont really get this genre at all

Im not saying i dont like it cos i dont mind a bit of it here and there.

But where the hell does it progress too ?

it has hard beats, its chill and mellowish, and its got a wikkid melody.. well thats the way i like my prog at least.

I hav yet to find a progressive track i like. It bores me and i feel it doesnt go anywhere. But im sure people would say the same about the type of trance i like. All about opinions i guess.

Although progressive trance may not have the climaxes and energy that "regular" trance has, it's slower beats and rhythms allow for wider range of mixing and matching sounds. I'm not saying that one is better than the other; they're just slightly different styles of music.

Try listening to a whole set instead of just 1 song or a few songs. It takes a while to understand Prog too.

I love the prog, especially the darker tribally shit. But i agree that after about 3 hours of it does get a bit boring.

dark tribal is amazing.....only if steve lawler is playing live

Progressive.....go see sander kleinenberg (90% of the tracks he plays...you have never heard). As i stated on this board many times, prog house (especially deep prog house) bores me and i prefered progressive trance in 1999 when nick warren played prog trance.
