Yeah I know, I read your post :P What I meant to was 'Software only' as in 'you don't need to buy XX's proprietary DAC or ADC' or what the hell theyre called again. OMGLOLACRONYMSERRWHERE

From what I gathered doing some more research, The others supported using traktor/final scratch etc interfaces with their software, but I think mixxx is a bit more lenient in that area.
I'm guessing you'll have best luck doing this project on a Linux machine, due to there will definately be some tinkering that has to be done, and we all know how easy it is to customize OSX, or even Windows for that matter.
