who cares...commentators are all about money these days if he really luved wat he was doin, he'll stay with the same income he had, there's so much attention around this guy. he's only a fucken commentator and wats so special about that??? noone anywhere else in the world cares, expect in canada. im not being offensive to any hockey fan here, i just dont understand why this is such a big deal???

because ron and don are a canadian institution. theyve been doing the show sence 82 or 83 together.
mclean hired an agent that negiotiats through the press. my theory is that the cbc and mclean made this a huge deal as they wanted to draw attention back to hockey night in canada and away from sportsnet and tsn's coverage of the sport.

i've been watching ron & don all these years growing up.. it's tradition.
so yah it's important to some people.. i'm happy he's coming back again.. it wouldn't be the same without him to be the brunt of cherry's joke.

yes, it is tradition and i'd hate to watch hockey night in canada without ron mclean. I don't know a better pairing than Ron & Don. I'm really glad they reached a deal. Watching HNIC reminds me of my childhood days
