Smiley DJ a little help is needed...

hi there !
i would like to lubricante (spelling??) my turntables, they had over than 1000 of playing time without being lubricanted.
i don't know what oil should i use, i don't know if i need to use oil or any other thing, i don't know which parts can use some oil - i know the motor should be oiled, but what about the pitch control ? or any other parts ???
i would appreciate answers cause my babies really need some oil...

thank you anyway, shay.

p.s: if my question isn't clear, tell me, and i would rephrase the sentence.

Go to an arts n craft store and get sewing machine oil.
drop 3 drops on your spindle so it runs down in to the motor,
hope this helps.
peace

actually the technics manual says that you should apply 2 or 3 drops of oil once after every 2000 hours of oporation. they also give the part number: SFW0010

i actually ran across http://www.turntablelab.com/replace...mentparts1.html
towards the bottom there are a few but it may be too much trouble to go through the net... im sure sewing machine oil is fine

eh?

How can you possibly know how many hours you have used your turntables?

im sure they dont mean exactly that many hours... i donno, each song is 5 mins... say you practice on average 2 hours a week... im sure one can easily do the math : ) i guess it would be hard to put it on a time interval for maintanance since some people use things more than others
