I'm really affraid because I'm sure that 2003 will be the worst year ever for trance! a lot of people think that 2001 was bad, but I think that actually, it's MORE BAD than 2001

I can't listen other music. Trance is the best! other music styles suxx imo! that's why I'm worried about the future of trance

Nah there is currently a lot of good trance around, and it has its peaks and troughs, like all things.

This yeah it is more harder stuff, but dont worry years like 99 will always come back round.

Anyway it is an evolution of music, something that cna only be good.

Dont be stuck in the past

There a lot of djs that keeping making track in the same style and all.....

a lot of producers have always made similar sounding tunes... and u only notice it now? the name ferry corsten springs to mind.. although his last few tracks have been really original sounding (punk, needle juice & pocket damage)..

i do however think that what u are saying is wrong theres plenty of reeeeaaaally good stuff around at the moment... u just gotta look for it one name that seems to be cropping up more and more on records is jay walker... this dood has talent. just listen to his remix of lunar - the pulse, and tell me any other track that sounds like that

It almost feels like 99 again...

I'm starting to like this year more then 99...
Just because there's so much to choose from when it comes to the trance genre...
There's sooooo many sub genres these days!!

I think trance will peak next year!

wha?? you really think this year was bad? hell no. so many good tracks! i mean sure, the sound is different that 97-99. but it's still a good vibe. you just haven't adapted to it like some of us have.

why the threads about trance dying has to come back and come back, in various disguises??

trance will never die!!

First of all- it's a matter of taste.
Second- new producers keep poping up with quality productions...

I for once think that 2002 is a serious compatition for 1999!
