Anyone with a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy ?
My onboard mobo soundcard fried, so i decided to buy a brand new creative sound blaster audigy player.
Ive disabled the mobo card/chip, inserted the PCI card, installed the drivers and set it up all, but i cant get it to work. Ive been at it about 3 hours now and annoyed the hell out of starfox asking him for help. Ive also updated with the drivers on the site too.
Before you ask all the volume meters are full/high, all the pieces of the audigy settings are functioning, in device manager all the components are working correctly, and nothing is conflicting. The audigy is selected for all sound related tasks but yet all i can get out my speakers is hiss. Ive tried them in all of the jacks at the arse of the PCI card and makes no difference, apart from if i use the Digital Out i have a nice hissing noise so the £55 isnt a total waste.
Sorry, im just very frustrated, anyone with any clever ideas?
