Well, I know he's not strictly a trance DJ, but if you like Sasha, he'll be playing at the Arena in Brisbane on 29 November. You'll need to buy your tickets beforehand, cause it'll sell out.

$45 + booking fee
Brisbane: Jetstar 2020 (no booking fees!), Central Station records, Rockinghorse Records, Skinny's Records, Lorna Jane (Indooroopilly), Butter Beats, Main Squeeze, Café Scene & Phatt Stuff (Valley), Gooble Warming (no booking fees!Vulture St, West End)
If you're overseas though it may be easier getting a ticket through www.ticketek.com. The tickets cost more but you can order online. Have a look for Summer Advent*jah 2002.
That is the only big event happening that i can think of but there will be other smaller events happening and possibly some warehouse parties. If you like trance and tech music PM me for more details.

Unfortunately, stipsy is right on the ball with this one. Brisbane is the hard house capital of the world! Well maybe not the world capital but trance is just about non-existent up there.
I'm not fully aware about the club scene, since I now spend most of my time in Adelaide. However, the Dome used to be OK and downstairs at the Beat played OK music (upstairs is for pooftas). There's a new club called family, but apparently it's prety yuppy.

The Dome...whoaa!! That place is a city club and is worse than City Rowers these days!!
You'll be hard pressed to find some trance in any of the clubs in Brisbane. Hope you like hard house and tech music cause thats about it my friend!!

Hey don't bag Rowers, it serves a purpose. If there wasn't Rowers (or Fridays for that matter) then footy boys and 16 year old girls would overtake every other club in the city
Anyway, these holz, I will vow to start a trance night somewhere in Brisbane.
