IT WAS GREAT!! me and ekstasis went and had a great day. saw some pretty good sets by liquid todd (breaks!! ), doc martin, marco carola (sick techno), donald glaude (funky electro), dave ralph, sandra collins, BT, and the crystal method. saw some others too but we didn't stay through their sets cause they weren't that great. we somehow missed saeed and palash but i guess that is understandable because the posted set times were all changed and djs were spinning unannounced. they juggled the acts from the main stage (which got canceled due to the rain) and put them in the tents. so you had to be able to recognize djs to have a clue who you were watching.

for trance lovers, it is probably better that you saved your money cause we didn't hear much trance on saturday but LOTS of tech.

i had a great day despite the mud. hopefully more TA's will come out next year.

Good thing I didnt go.. next year perhaps..

i know that it rained a reasonably good amount in Hartford, cT.. how was in on LI?

idk - randall's island isn't on LI - it's in between the bronx and queens. but it rained lightly all day. it didn't matter cause we were inside the tents all day. but anyone afraid of mud would not have done too well.

I was fricken freezing all day. But I hate the cold and like to complain. So that probably had a lot to do with it.

But I had a great time regardless. The best trance was early in the morning. It was kinda cool to hear someone drop Lost Tribe - Gamemaster at noon. Wasnt expecting that at all. Crystal Method was funny. Seems like they found some chemicals before they went on. They werent all there. One of them even threw a record into the crowd. BT would have been better if all the kiddies werent jumping on the stage making the record skip.

I think shes talking about me. It took me about 4 hours to just give into the mud. I hate being dirty more then I hate being cold.

nah - at least you gave in. i know ppl who wouldn't have been able to deal with the mud and would've gone home.
