Monotheo - Paradox Angelic

I am very pleased to announce the release of “Monotheo – Paradox Angelic”, a classic trance track, with a sound one can compare to artists on labels such as Anjunabeats and on Beatport.

That's quite a statement you've written here. Your piano work is quite beautiful, but I'd say you've got a ways to go in comparing yourself to an anjuna artist.

Lol, I see. You can ofcourse elaborate that. Also.. If you actually listen closely to anjunabeats 11, and compare, you will my track even is louder. And even sounds better. So in that way, I am even better (Listen to that completely amazing midrange on high-end multibit d/a, and good speakers).

Comparing the quality of music by its loudness is a bit like comparing the taste of food by how hot it is.

Not a very good way to look at music, or food. :-)

Not a lot of understanding

There is ofcourse an element of quality, if you can do both louder and clearer, than a leading label. Without sacrificing anything. Seems like perfect sense to me

Gotta love an ego. I didn't come here to put you down, but if you'd like some constructive criticism... Your kick is really bad. You don't transition very well. Your builds feel like they don't want to be there. Also your "mid intro" gets a bit stale and could use a bit of variation before you get to your piano bit. (Which again, is very beautiful). Also your static bassline during the piano bit doesn't fit the best, but thats just my opinion. Sounds great when it goes through the motions a few bars later.
You've got a great mix. Of course everyone knows if you do have one, laptop speakers will prove that well enough.

On a side note, labelling your own track a classic is ridiculous. You obviously think very highly of yourself. Secondly, no one on Anjuna has this sound, so saying it sounds like it should be on Anjuna is equally as silly.

Hope this helps with your future productions.

"An ego"? No, not at all "an ego". I actually do meditation, and the correct wording would be "satanic demon". Which is probably much less present in me than most. And my skill is real. And I am reading your "constructive criticism". It is really poor. That is not constructive criticism, that is simply opinion, and not very well worded. "Your kick is really bad". I think my kick is extremely excellent. And again.. Do notice the level, and that it still has perfect transient. And do listen to the low frequency range, and hear that it is clear.

In fact, it almost sounds unprocessed, and that is much why I did this production. Classic trance, like back in 94-96 (before "mastering"), that would sound bad otherwise.

I am extremely pleased with it. And ofcourse since I did this genre back in the beginning of trance, that came out of techno, with new producers who liked techno, but put a more melodic arrangement on it, ofcourse I can call it classic. You are simply proving what kind of pretensiousness and ignorance that can be online, and that plauges the internet. Unfortunately also a problem, with the internet becoming mainstream. Back in those days, it wasn´t. And people produced free of such ignorant and pretensious trash opinions.

Peace Be With You.

Well of course you wouldn't think you have an ego. You come on this site and state this track is better than the Anjuna artists songs; that's some big ego my friend. Your skill? Sonically, maybe. Musically, definitely not. Not that you're "skill-less," but not to the standards of professional musicians.

Your kicks transients are fine, as is your low end. Having proper levels doesn't mean its a good sounding kick. No one in the trance scene has a kick that sounds similar to yours. That's what I'm comparing it to. Sure it's my opinion, but any criticism you get is that persons opinion. Don't be stupid.

I'm not saying your song is bad, you just have a long way to go. You can't say my criticism is garbage, and only bring up my poor explanation of me not liking your kick as the reason why. There are multiple things I commented on. Yes you have a beautiful piano melody, yes the song has a great "classic trance" feel, but it's missing things.

If you can't take feedback on something with a grain of salt, and just write peoples opinions off as trash, this is not the place for you.

Anyway I am noticing a trend, that is common on the "internet". ASCII is not worth it. Maybe they spent a bit too much time online. And need to go out, and have some positive experiences. They are coming off as cynical and mean, without purpose in this discussion.

Probaby have obviously gone nuts a long time ago, and still think they say something valid. This plages KvR, Gearslutz, Homerecording, etc, also.

All their meanderings have no meaning, even to their deranged self. And they have no relevance in any real business situation, or for any real artists.

Note to these people: You should probably stop using drugs, as many users indeed have an overvalued self-image, while really just iterating loose phrases, without any rational basis. Particulary "magic mushrooms", and similar things, have people talking incoherently, and slurred, with them still thinking they are something. While obviously to the rest of the people in the real world, they are bums. Actually probably 10x worse than any alcoholic.

Atleast alcoholics doesn´t have "art" full of gay sexual innuendo.

This is your old pal Poseidon.

Guess were "the yellow submarine goes".

You think you can talk to me from a place where most people piss?

Obvously nuts.

And Jung can not help you.

He is taking the semenload of this man, thinking it gives him insight.

Really just another variant of the "seeds"-type motives of hallucinogen-users. That is why they are so preoccupied with "ancestors", and their totem is a phallic object.

I am going to stop posting here, as any forum infested with these people have no worth. They are abusers, know only abuse, and crazy from drugs. And use the internet as their personal bashing ground, with deviating behaviour, far away from anything accepted in real society. Where they are recogized in reality, as the loosers they are. Without any significant to any real life. Probably because they have never had a decent life, and lack the intelligence to realize one.

They will undoubtedly stick to their PC screen as a fly, and babble on, thinking the invisible heroes in the forum like them. That ofcourse are only fantasies in their demented head.

Peace

Yes, just ignore every sensible thing I wrote. " as many users indeed have an overvalued self-image." This is my favourite, so hypocritical. So glad you won't be around here for long.

Absolutely fascinating that the person decrying the use of drugs and the "overvalued self-images" of site members, ends up coming across in posts as a bat shit crazy ego maniac, currently on his second week of tweaking.
