this is actually a very good point, because the bass is not 100% reliable, especially in large, reverberating areas like clubs. that's why your hihats etc. are your best bet..
but like the few ppl above have said, eventually you'll just be listening to the whole thing, and will notice if two tracks are out of sync just by instinct...
