Has anyone used one of these for producing? I was considering one seeing how cheap it is.

I had a quick play with one when it was first launched and overall my impression was that they're great little units; The pads feel real nice as well as sturdy and the XY pad did what it was supposed to. The only thing I was concerned with was that the unit is really light and I thought if was was really jamming away it would need to be secured to my desk (but then I have #m foam double sided adhesive tape which gets used for everything like this).

I obviously can't comment on DAW integration as they just had it hooked up to disableton in my local GC but it seemed to be working fine.

At $49 you can't really go wrong. I just dropped more than double that on my groceries which will probably only last 3 days,

Yeah, I figured that even if it turned out to be useless, I wouldn't be losing much. It'd be really easy to carry along too in case I wanted to use my work hours for something actually productive

Whoa, they are cheap. I paid more for a Korg Microkey 37-key, which just died after only a year of use. Makes me leery to buy from Korg again. My new midi keyboard is an alesis.

What would you use the nanopad for, drums? The touchpad might be good for turning virtual knobs. I want a foot pad so I can trigger the bass drum with my foot (if they make such a thing). Combined with a touchpad, I could play drums properly.

Yeah, I'd be using it with Reason's Kong drum machine.
