Welp, let's talk about something that ISN'T a big shit stir, shall we?
Share your latest accomplishments, or whatever it is you're working towards right now. You know, what's going on your life. School, career, family, hobbies, etc.
I've just been plugging away at work. 50 grand of student debt almost paid, which has been keeping my frivolous spending in check. In the mean time working towards specialization in my field.
I keep thinking I will go all crazy town buying useless shit and partying once I have all my money to myself again, but I'll probably just top up my savings account and open an RRSP. Woooo adulthood!
Now you.

You know, I do know that a million dollars is a lot of money. But out of curiosity I divided my own salary into a million, and goddamn that truly is a lot of money.
I am SO close to being debt free, I just want to win the lottery or something and write that shit off for good, RIGHT. NOW. Even 10 grand on a scratch ticket would be awesome! Although I'd prefer 50 or 75.

Ive had a bad day working on my latest project. God tends to laugh at plans.
I know this world is a game of numbers. And I tell myself daily more no's lead to more yes', but fuck if it doesn't tear your spirit out of your body some days. It's been a disastrous day for something I have put so much money, time and effort into. I haven't had time to get even an oil change on my car or go see a doctor about the fact i can't move my neck and half of my face is tingling. I'm just fed up right now. bad bad bad baddddd day. ugh.
If I had haters theyd be dancing right now. Glad I don't have substance abuse problems or I'd be one a month long bender.

Yeah, I don't really subscribe to plans too much. I mean, I've always had goals - but I tend to go with the flow if I can.

Still kind of looking for a family home with larger yards, but there's nothing quite what I want, near where I want to live.
So, still stuck with the same house. The estate prices have been off the planet for the last 24 months here in Sydney, which is fun if I'm selling but pretty murderous for buying. Seriously, some stuff I would have valued at around 1.3m, you can slap a reserve on of 1.8 an no one bats an eyelid...
Aside from that, spent about 10 months moving a lot of my assets into a variety of sources so there's not all the eggs in the once basket, so to speak. Mostly due to the above insanity.

Same here haha. That being said, my latest project is a pretty long process. It's a career, not a job. It'll be about a year when it's all finished, and even though the end result is far down the line, I'm prepared for the arduous process. Determination, perseverance, and patience are values that I'll be holding myself to during this process and beyond. I would love to share here but it's definitely not the right medium for what I'm going into lol.
I wish others great success in their avenues/projects

^^^ Good luck! Although I don't really believe in luck, per se. What's a better saying to wish someone well on a journey of hard work? Lol.
Lilith re: eggs not all in one basket. That's what I'd like to do with my education. Although now I don't even know if I want to pursue a masters degree, I am so sick of the courses I'm taking even now. However, if I do pursue something outside of my field, I will likely have a much more keen interest in the whole school process again.

I don't even know. Totally slacking this quarter at school, and since I am over the half way mark I need to talk to an advisor or something.
Finding a new publisher... Though I haven't really started because I am still contractually tied to my previous publisher even though we haven't talked in like 2 years nor provided any work for them so I need to end that shit.
Keep working on photography. It helps to have a gaggle of hot Asian girls that like their photos taken, real motivating haha.
Also need to work on more music.
Short term stuff is going to the eye doctor and updating my contact lens prescription so I can snowboard this winter (if there is any snow).
