Does anyone know where I can download old versions of AOL Instant Messenger? I'm looking for the one that was created before they put the little news thing in that appears when you first log in...but supports Direct Connect, mic talk and has smilies.

why don't you just get AIM + ?
it has a history log of ur conversations and many more options... its pretty coo

throw the crap away......AOL is disgusting and they are manipulative

i think the new one is bulky and annoying. the older versions are smaller and more simple, especially when you have myIM or Aim+ to take those adds out... its really nice after that.

Well I needed the one that first had direct connect and mic talk because I use those features alot. The original version didn't have those options or else I would use it.

The newest version is a resource hog and like DjJade said, bulky. MyIM doesn't run with it either which is a huge minus.
