I don't know if anyone saw/read this interview on askmen.com, but he seems to diss the city that embraces him so much everytime he comes here. Here is the quote...
"I like different cities for different things, I mean, New York is pretty interesting to see, but on the other hand, I think it is too fake."
Hmmm... how do all those Twilo heads feel now?
They used to worship him like God, it was sick.

glad to see you went out of your way to cause flame wars.
personally i don't care about PVD....kinda boring....
but in some aspects NYC is fake "nowadays"....but when Twilo was open and Limelight had its parties and the days of NASA where going on, it was FAR from fake...

Bring back 1994 NYC clubbing nights, cus the sh*t today is filled with junk parties and DJs that play sh*t House.....Zabiela, Sander, or Howells and all the rest suck and couldnt throw a night like it was in the early 90s in NYC!!!...Screw Twilo - give me Limelight circa 1993!!!

I dont think he meant it as a diss. I'm not sure exactly what he meant though. But he continues to come to NYC every 3-4 months. He'll be here again in 2 weeks. If he doesnt like NYC, then he wouldn't come.

I just thought it was kind of a weird thing to say, when in plenty of other interviews he says he likes NYC and the crowd. Maybe he wasn't allowed in the VIP in a new spot in the city.

Interview is "pre-September 11th" and it was NOT directed towards his fans or Twilo...just the city...

I remember he played in Philadelphia at a shitty club on a Thursday nite, and he was complaining about the lame equipment and whatever. I know he'll never go back to that dump either.
