Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary

Age: 26
Location: SATX
Favorite DJs: OAKIE, Ferry, Tiesto, AvB, PvD, Marco V, Johan Gielen, Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules (when he spins trance, not house), some Sander Kleinenberg, etc...
Favorite EDM Tune: What the piss is an "EDM" tune?
Favorite Movie: none
Favorite Band: none - i listen to everything from Sinatra to Patsy Cline to Ludacris to Downset to Pantera to Dixie Chicks to Salsa Merengue to Boston Pops Orchestra to Garth Brooks to Ferry Corsten! I have the most eclectic music collection on my ipod...
Favorite Food: Italian
Occupation: Military & part time graduate student working on my Masters Degree...
I'm relatively an old-timer here.... been into the scene since '94 when i first heard an Oakie Goa mix... still have a lot of them too. '99 was my favorite year of all time in trance.... Oakie's EM tour blew up the scene. IMO no one has ever touched his performance that year. i've seen all the DJ's i've mentioned live and met all of them too. I've even made it to a Trance Energy event across the pond once.... I'm originally from Miami (home of the Winter Music Conference, Club Space, and the late but not forgotten "infamous" Shadow Lounge.... (where i saw Oakie Live in '99 for his EM broadcast!!), and been to the WMC for its first 3 years running.
I've been "out of it" lately due to my work obligations, deployments, and school. To top that off have a wife and kid on the way, so been pretty busy.
Glad to see the scene is picking up in SATX, as when i got here several years ago, it sucked.
Peace
